Doug Perednia, MD

Founder & CEO

Bio

Doug worked for many years on NIH- and HHS-funded projects in telemedicine and other applications of computer science. He has worked with small businesses and government agencies on a wide variety of projects from optimizing medical record systems to finding ways to reduce greenhouse gas when producing high-quality animal feed. His book Overhauling America’s Healthcare Machine has been widely used in healthcare and economics courses. Since 2017, he has been focused on reversing the adverse impact of screen-based activities on physical and mental health.

Bio

Ken is a professor of psychological sciences at University of Missouri. His research focuses on well-being, motivation, self-determination theory, personality, and positive psychology. He is the recipient of the Templeton Foundation “Positive Psychology” prize and the Ed and Carol Diener award for mid-career achievement in personality psychology. He is the author of Optimal Human Being: An Integrated Multi-Level Perspective, Self-determination Theory in the Clinic: Motivating physical and mental health and has written and edited several other academic books, and more than 200 academic articles and book chapters.

Jim has more than 20 years of experience leading revenue, strategy, and business development at top media companies. Selling over $500M in ad sponsorships, licensing and partnerships, Jim has considerable experience selling for brands geared toward younger consumers. He earned a B.S. in advertising from Arizona State and completed an Advanced Leadership Program from Harvard University.

Martin Miller is an experienced leader skilled in managing diverse technology environments, including cloud solutions and software development. He excels in agile scrum settings, mentoring junior staff, and steering large-scale projects with budgets exceeding $50M. Martin combines technical know-how with financial and business acumen to oversee project execution and maintains high standards in IT service delivery with notable success in SaaS service reliability and hybrid cloud solutions. His career highlights include leadership roles at Levi Strauss & Co. and Blackhawk Network, where he led machine learning operations and global site reliability engineering teams.

A graduate of Harvard and Stanford, she has won many honors, including the Faculty of the Year Award (twice) and Distinguished Research Lecturer Award from UC Riverside, a Templeton Positive Psychology Prize, a Science of Generosity grant, and a Psychology & Philosophy grant.

Bio

Caleb is the Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer for Vita Inclinata Technologies, a Denver Colorado based aerospace and industrial company. He started his career as a volunteer search and rescue tech for Multnomah (Oregon) County Search and Rescue. A mentor and fellow volunteer suffered cardiac arrest while on a night-training mission, to which became the genesis of Vita Inclinata. Caleb continues to serve as a volunteer firefighter, search and rescue tech, and as an Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship at the University of Colorado. His work at Vita Inclinata Technologies has won recognition like Forbes 30 under 30 for the Manufacturing and Industry category, Titan 100 CEO winner, Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year for the Desert Mountain Region.
